TOILETS at Warrington bus interchange have picked up a gong for the best public facilities in a bus or coach station.
The award was made at the “Loo of the Year” awards, run by the British Toilet Association.
It recognises the highest standards of service and good practice.
Coun Alan Litton, the borough council’s executive member for environment services said: “This national award recognises the commitment by our employees to providing a high-quality, effective and friendly service to the thousands of people who use our public toilets every year.
“I am delighted that their work has been recognised in this way and a special mention should be made for the efforts of the bus interchange manager and his team in attaining this award.”
