FIRE totally destroyed a domestic garage at a house in Padgate, Warrington early today.
The blaze was at a house in Bruce Drive – and was apparently caused by candles left alight to protect plants from the frost.
Flames spread to the house and to a neighbouring house, causing damage to guttering and part of the roof.
Tools and other property in the garage were destroyed.
