ITALIAN market traders are to visit Warrington – just in time for the festive season.
Italia in Piazza is coming to town on Friday and Saturday, December 19-20.
It will feature authentic foods from Italy, including a wide variety of cheeses and cured meats, cakes, sweets and freshly baked biscuits, as well as oils, vinegars, olives, hand made pasta and speciality breads.
Simon Faro, managing director of Italia in Piazza said: “Our market is unique because it’s wholly owned by my partners and me. This means that we ensure high quality produce that is sold with professional advice to make sure that you are happy with your purchases.”
Coun Bob Barr, the borough council’s executive member for planning and regeneration said: “The Italian Market will add a new dimension to the town’s seasonal festivities. This wonderful attraction has never travelled so far north before, so shoppers’ should be encouraged to visit Warrington when the Italians come to town.”
The market will run along Bridge Street from 9am to 5pm on both days.
