Woman rescued following four vehicle collision on M6

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a woman trapped in a car following a four vehicle collision on the M6 at Warrington last night.

The collision took place on northbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 21 at Thelwall viaduct and junction 21a at 19.23.

Two fire crews from Warrington attended at the scene and used cutting equipment to release her from the car. She was then passed to the care of the ambulance services.
