WARRINGTON Town manager Paul Moore has moved to strengthen his squad with the signing of 20-year-old midfielder Nick Linford from Unibond Premier outfit Witton Albion.
Linford has previous experience with Nantwich Town after being on the books at Stafford Rangers. He is a former Chester City youth player who has also seen service with Bury and Blackpool.
He left Bloomfield Road to join Conference North Kettering Town in September 2006 making a substitute appearance at Droylsden.
Released by The Poppies in November 2006, he scored a spectacular pre-season goal for Stafford against Premiership new-boys Derby County. He had a spell on loan at Newcastle Town in early 2008.
