POLICE were advising motorists to avoid the Winwick Road area of Warrington this morning following traffic light control failures.
Lengthy queues were being reported with traffic down to a single lane in both directions from the former Long Lane traffic island junction.
The traffic lights control failures were caused after vehicle collided with a traffic signal at the entrance to Decathlon and Orford Jubilee Hub.
