TWO masked men – one brandishing a kitchen knife – have got away with cash and cigarettes from a Co-op Late Shop in Warrington.
The raid was at the store in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall at about 8pm last night (Tuesday).
Two men entered the store. Both were wearing dark clothing and balaclava helmets to hide their faces.
One used the knife to threaten staff and demanded that they hand over the contents of the till and cigarettes.
Then the pair ran out of the shop and are believed to have escaped in a black car.
No-one was hurt, but staff were left badly shaken.
Anyone who witnessed the attack or who has any information is asked to call DC James Thompson on 0845 458 0000 or call the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
