War veterans roll back the years

WORLD War 2 veterans from Glazebury rolled back the years to tell youngsters what life was like when Britain stood alone against the Nazi menace.
Irene Rankin, Sid Crockett and Michael Latchford, who all had experiences from the war years to recount, visited Glazebury CE Primary School to talk to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
They brought a number of mementoes of the war, including books, photographs and medals.
Our picture shows the three with pupils Liam, Lucas, Kofi, Bradley and Hannah.
