A NUMBER of organised fireworks and bonfire displays are taking place across Warrington this year.
Cheshire firefighters are encouraging residents to attend an organised event because most injuries occur as a result of people building their own bonfires and setting off their own fireworks.
The following organised events are taking place in Warrington this year.

Thursday, Nov 3
Dog & Patridge, Manchester Road, Woolston. 5.30pm
Friday, Nov 4
Longbarn Residents Assoc. New Horizons School, Fallowfield Grove, gates 6.30pm
Twiss Green Community Primary School Fireworks extravaganza in the school grounds in Culcheth, Warrington. Gates open at 6.30pm and the display will start at 7.30pm.
Saturday Nov 5
Blackbrook Community Association. Rear of the Hawthorne Centre, Orange Grove. Event starts around 5 -30 pm. Display at 7-30 pm. FREE ENTRY
Fireworks Bonanza at Gullivers World in Warrington.
Lymm Bonfire at Lymm Rugby Club. Doors open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 6:30pm.
Broomfields Junior School, Appleton. Fireworks Spectacular. Event on from 6pm- 9pm, with fireworks starting at 7.30pm.
Bonfire and Fireworks display at Thelwall Parish Hall. Gates Open at 5:30pm, bonfire lit at 6pm and fireworks at 6:45pm.
Appleton Thorn Primary School Fireworks Extravaganza. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm.
Guy Fawkes extravaganza Hatton Pub & Grill, Hatton 7pm.
Saturday 12th Nov
Penketh Primary School Fireworks display. Gates open at 6:30pm. Tickets by advance sale only, contact the school for more information.
