Six arrested in a busy night for police

SIX people have been arrested for a variety of offences at Warrington during the night.
A busy night for police started just before 11pm when a man was arrested for allegedly verbally abusing door staff at a bar on Bridge Street.
Shortly before 11.30pm a woman was arrested on an allegation of driving while unfit through drugs.
Shortly before 1am a man was arrested in the Orford area for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
At 2am, a man was arrested at the Premier Inn, in Tarporley Road, after it was alleged he was refusing to leave. He was arrested to prevent a breach of the peace.
A woman was arrested at 2.19am for allegedly assaulting a member of door staff at a bar in Bridge Street.
At 5.30am, a man was arrested for an alleged domestic assault in the Fairfield and Howley area.
All the suspected offenders spent the night in the cells.
