THE popular Stockton Heath Festival is looking for “supporters” to help next year’s event be even more successful.
Next year it will be held over the weekend of July 9 to 12. The idea to create “Supporters of the Stockton Heath Festival” came up at a Festival Ideas Night.
Chairman Tudor Pole said: “The festival is a fantastic event for the area and last summer local businesses were able to be main sponsors and friends of the festival.
“Now we want to offer something to individuals to be able to contribute to and support the event as well – so we came up with the Supporters Pack.”
The festival is a community group and funds the entire weekend through donations and grants.
To become a supporter costs just £10 for the 2009 festival, and will entitle the donor to an advance copy of the festival program and a discount offer. In addition those signing before the end of January will receive a festival calendar and diary worth £6.50.
Supporters can sign up at the Festival Winter Market on Dec 7 at the Forge or by posting a cheque payable to Stockton Heath Festival along with their name, address, email and contact number to Festival Supporter Pack, 9 Stanley Avenue, Stockton Heath, Warrington. WA4 2DY.
