JUNIOR members of Glazebury Cricket Club will be doing a “bag pack” at Sainsbury’s, Culcheth on Saturday December 13 to raise money towards the cost of an additional all-weather practise net.
The club has been successful in securing a 75 per cent ECB grant towards the cost of the project, which leaves members with about £1,800 to find.
A junior bag pack last year realised £630 but the youngsters aim to try and top that figure to get as near as possible to their target.
Glazebury field three junior sides in the summer – in addition to three senior teams.
