A rampant Bridge Inn Burtonwood triumphed in the Alliance Stuart Midleton Cup Final at Victoria Park, beating Culcheth Eagles 40-8.

The game was marred by a couple of sin binnings one from each side in separate incidents as well as a couple of heated exchanges.

But the Burtonwood side had the best of the play in both halves and ran out worthy winners.

Unconverted tries from James Wilde and Ben Myers were all Culcheth could manage against a rampant Burtonwood side who had tries from Craig Holcoft 3, Brian Farhan, Josh Whitham, Craig Stanton, Ross Young and 6 goals from Greg Peters.
