A chance for budding poets

BUDDING poets have the chance to win £1,000 by writing a poem about Warrington.
The competition, aimed at getting more people to write poetry, is free to enter and is open to people of all ages.
Poems have to be about life in the writer’s home town or area. The best will receive the prize money and people can submit up to three entries – of no more than 20 lines and 160 words.
