WARRINGTON Disability Partnership are within touching distance of breaking a World Record for the biggest tombola.

The charity just needs a few more items to reach their target of 6000 itmes for the World’s Biggest Tombola in Golden Square, Warrington, next Saturday (October 1st).

Appealing for one final push for prizes, Chief Executive Dave Thompson said: “We can take individual donations, or multiple donations up to 25 of an item. The latter will appeal to businesses. Some have sent us small quantities of their promotional items. Individuals can simply donate any old unused presents, unused items or buy a couple of items from their local Pound Shop.

“Donations can be dropped off at any of our services, or we can arrange to pick up any large quantities. ”

Prizes can be dropped off at any of the charity’s centres, including the shop in Godeln Square, Shopmobility in the Golden Square car park, the Independent Living Centre on Beafort Street or at the stall on Warrington Market. Items can also be donated at Tesco Extra on Winwick Road.

Every business which donates will get a thank you message on the charity’s website.
