Mayor sends greeting to all Muslims

MAYOR of Warrington Cllr Faisal Rashid has wished all Muslims in the borough a very happy Eid al-Adha.
Cllr Rashid, Warrington’s first Muslim mayor, said: “I would like to wish every Muslim living in the borough of Warrington and across the world a very happy Eid. I hope you will enjoy some time with your families to celebrate the day. Eid Mubarak!”
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of the Sacrifice, is a Muslim holy day celebrated across the world.
