Man who died after pub fall named

A man who tragically died after falling down the stairs at a Warrington pub has been named locally as 68-year-old Pat McCue.

Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances following the sudden death at the Kings Head pub in Warrington last Friday.

Officers were called to the pub on Winwick Street following concerns for a man who had fallen down the stairs.

Although now living in Cornwall, Mr McCue was a popular character in Warrington and various tributes have been posted on social media.
