Hypnotherapist heals across the water!

AMERICAN baseball boss Mike Urda is helping a Warrington based hypnotherapist spread his message around the world after getting his life back.
For more than 30 years Mike, (pictured above) who is President and owner of the Binghamton Mets Baseball club, was one of more than 50 million victims of Irritable Bowel Syndrome in the USA.
But now thanks to a pioneering CD programme created by clinical hypnotherapist Michael Mahoney, (pictured right) he has experienced “life changing results.”
Mike, aged 54, a married father of two, has now teamed up with Michael to help promote his work across America.
He said: “Twenty per cent of the population in our country, over 50 million people, suffer from IBS, with symptoms ranging from chronic life long diarrhea, constipation, bloating and pain. Another one to two million people reluctantly join this club every year. To put that in perspective, this is three times as many people that suffer from Asthma or Diabetes.
“However, IBS is a silent affliction; no one wants to talk about it. After all, worrying about where the nearest toilet is will never be a nice topic of conversation. While the media, TV and movies can get an easy laugh out of “bathroom urgency” scenes it is no laughing matter when you have the condition.
“I found my life style controlled by IBS was very depressing. At least having been my own boss since age 28 put me in a position where I could control my own environment, which greatly helped me to deal with my IBS symptoms. I often wondered how others managed.
“You have to live in the mind of an IBS person to fully appreciate what they go through. I have had victims tell me they would take a colostomy over IBS; at least they would not need to worry about where the nearest bathroom is. Many IBS sufferers have no quality of life, and question whether it is worth living. Many are on antidepressants and only reluctantly leave their homes.
“By pure chance, my teenage niece started the ball rolling on a national awareness campaign that will end up helping millions. She mentioned something about Hypnosis, which caused me to “Google” IBS + hypnosis. This led me to my savior, Michael Mahoney, based across the pond in England.
“As implausible as it seems, after all the doctor visits, hospital stays, medications, tests, supplements, I found out, to my amazement, about the most successful form of treatment for IBS, a pre-recorded programme replicating sessions of guided imagery and clinical hypnotherapy used in the clinical setting.”
Michael Mahoney, C.Hyp,CMH, is a multi-award winning Clinical Hypnotherapist practicing at the Guardian Medical Centre in Warrington, a town with strong American links, being the site of the former US Army Airbase, once the largest American depot in Europe. He is an associate member of the Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology (UK), a member of International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD), and also the Canadian Society of Intestinal Research (CSIR), amongst others.
In 2003, he was named the number one leading clinical hypnotherapist in Great Britain by the Independent on Sunday Top Brass Section. Michael has been specializing in IBS research and IBS clinical hypnotherapy treatments for nearly 20 years and he has developed a cutting edge, natural remedy product that for the first time ever, the 100 day home based IBS hypnotherapy programme, which helps alleviate the physical AND emotional symptoms of IBS.
