WARRINGTON will mark Armistice Day by observing the Royal British Legion’s traditional two-minute silence tomorrow (Tuesday).
At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, maroon rockets will be fires from the roof of the Town Hall to mark the start of the two-minute silence, and again to mark the finish.
The Mayor and Mayoress, Councillors Graham and Elaine Welborn will lead the public tribute at Market Gate.
Ex-service organisations and members of the public are invited to join the silent tribute to those who fell in war.
