BIRCHWOOD based X-Press Legal Services is holding a free CPD training seminar for solicitors and conveyancers on Wednesday September 28.
This half day event, at Walton Hall in Warrington, will focus on topical issues in residential conveyancing and starts with registration at 8.45am.
Dave Lister, Director of X-Press, will open the event and outline what the future holds for conveyancing, handing over to Andrew Crawford, who has been lecturing to the profession for over 15 years.
Andrew will cover a review of the latest practice and procedures in conveyancing, including:
· CML, Land Registry, SRA and The Law Society Issues
· New Help to Buy ISA
· CON29 new forms and implications explained
· Some wrinkles with the higher rate SDLT; Granny annexes and past main residence sales
· A review of recent cases with implications for conveyancers
