WARRINGTON police arrested a man for child neglect after infants were found “home alone” in a property where cannabis plants were allegedly being grown.

The arrest took place during the early hours of today after the man allegedly failed to stop a car he was driving.

Officers managed to make a note of the vehicle’s registration mark and when attending at the address linked to the vehicle, it is alleged the infant children were found alone.

Furthermore when the alleged driver of the vehicle returned home – he failed a breath test and cannabis plants were also discovered in the house.
