Burglars get away with car

RAIDERS who burgled a house at Warrington also got away with the occupier’s car – possibly by “hooking” the keys through the letter box.
The burglary was at a house in Orford and the car taken was a grey Audi A4.  The keys had been left in the hall, strengthening the belief that they may have been hooked through the letter box.
Police are appealing for help from the public who are asked to call them on 101 if they saw anything suspicious in the Orford area.
A police spokesman said: “Always put your car keys out of sight and never leave them in the back of your door.
“These people are looking for the easiest and least confrontational way to steal a vehicle, so anything you can do to make it harder for them means you are less likely to fall victim. “
