Pensioners tie the knot – after meeting at work

0

PENSIONERS who met and fell in love at work have married – at the age of 81 and 73 respectively.
They were married at Warrington Registry Office with 44 guests present – and later enjoyed an evening reception with around 150 guests.
After a short honeymoon in Wales they are now planning their next “adventure” – a trip to visit family in Australia.
Dennis Larsen met  Margaret Peacock five years ago at the Gulliver’s World theme park where they both worked – he as a car park attendant and gardener and she as a restaurant host.
Romance blossomed – and Dennis eventually popped the question.
Staff at the theme park made all the arrangements for the wedding breakfast, ranging from the table decorations to the food and entertainment.
Margaret is from Warrington but the couple now live at Dennis’s home in Haydock.
The trip to Australia is a wedding gift from Dennis to his new wife.
Our picture shows Margaret and Dennis with Margaret’s daughter Susan and Dennis’ great grandaughter Olena, who were bridesmaids.
