POLICE have issued a public appeal for help in identifying four masked raiders who threatened staff with a knife during a robbery at a Warrington restaurant.

The men, all wearing masks, entered the Harvester restaurant on Apollo Park, Westbrook, on Saturday 9 July 2016 at approximately 11.10pm through a rear door.

Once inside they threatened staff with a knife and stole a quantity of cash before leaving in a silver car believed to be a Peugeot.

Officers have descriptions of three of the men.

The first man is described as being approximately 5”10 in height, of a stocky build and wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and black trainers. He was also wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, thick black gloves and believed to be aged in his late teens to early twenties with a local accent.

The second man was approximately 5”9 in height and of a slim build. He was wearing a black quilted type jacket with the hood up, which was a different shade to the jacket and could have been wearing a balaclava.

The third man was smaller in height, at around 5”5 and was of a fairly stocky build. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket with the hood up and a Dracula style mask and thick black gloves.

If anyone is able to help police with their enquiries and identify the men or have any further information to contact 101 quoting incident number 1092 of 9 July.

Information can also be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
