Police issue another keys warning after car thefts

POLICE have issued another warning about leaving car keys out of sight following reports of two car thefts in the Orford area of Warrington overnight.

It is believed both vehicles were stolen after a poll was used through letter boxes to secure the car keys.

Members of the public who can assist police with their enquiries please call on 101 or alternatively report information anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

  1. How many more warnings do the police have to give before people finally start taking note and STOP leaving their keys in view and easy reach of ‘through the letter box’ thieves.

    Maybe if they tried to do it themselves through their own letterbox they would realise just how easy it is for others to do !!
