Silver Lane travellers move on

THE travellers encamped at Silver Lane, Risley Warrington, since the weekend have eventually moved on.

Warrington Borough Council successfully served a section 77 order requiring them to vacate the site,

The order prevents them returning within a three month period.

A quantity of litter left at the site was due to be removed today.

It is the second time in recent weeks that travellers have illegally set up on Silver Lane, one of a number of encampments which have been travelling around the Warrington area in recent weeks, including Dakota Park, Chapelford, Winwick Park and Alban Retail Park on Winwick Road.
