A total of 18 motorists were stopped by police on Knutsford Road, Warrington, during the night as part of operation “Roadster”.
Operation Roadster, is part of a Nationwide campaign as part of the Constabulary’s efforts to combat drink and drug driving and reduce the number of serious and fatal collisions in Cheshire.
Out of the 18 stopped, 17 tested negative, with one positive drugs wipe.
Anyone who suspects that somebody is driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol should call Cheshire Police on 101.
