Warrington rocks the Bank Holiday weekend

WARRINGTON rocked over the Bank Holiday weekend as thousands turned out at Golden Square to watch live music as part of the Warrington Music Festival.

Live bands performed on Saturday as part of the festival, before an exclusive gig on Sunday night headlined by Reverend and the Makers and the Lightning Seeds, along with DJ Clint Boon.

Ian Cox, Golden Square Centre Manager, said: “Golden Square was transformed into a live music arena this bank holiday weekend, with people travelling to our Style Rocks event from all over the North.

“On Saturday they rocked as they shopped to the sound of up and coming musicians and bands at the Warrington Music Festival and on Sunday we raised the roof on the market square with live music from the Lightning Seeds and headliners, Reverend and the Makers.

“It’s been a fantastic success.”
