THREE crime writers are to visit Warrington next week to discuss their gripping novels.
The three women writers – Rachel Abbott, Debbie Howells and Michelle Davies – will hold a special event at Penketh Library.
They plan to share their secrets about how to create a heart-stopping story line and give an insight into their careers so far.
Manchester based author, Rachel Abbott is best known for her novels Only the Innocent, The Back Road and Sleep Tight and was named Amazon UK’s bestselling independent author last year. She’s also currently one of LiveWire’s ‘book of the month’ authors.
Former air hostess and florist, Debbie Howells started writing as an escape from busy summer weddings. She published her first psychological thriller The Bones of You last year, which has now been selected for Richard and Judy’s book club.
Michelle Davies has been writing for magazines for 20 years. She held roles at Elle, Heat and Grazia before moving into writing novels. She currently juggles her crime writing with contributions to a number of women’s magazines and newspaper supplements. Gone Astray is her first novel, and the sequel is Wrong Place.
Their visit to Warrington is part of a tour of libraries across the region. Residents will have the chance to purchase a range of books on the day and have them signed by the authors.
The event is being held on Tuesday June 7 at 2pm. Tickets cost just £3 and are available from any LiveWire library.
