Newsagent attacked and robbed

POLICE in Warrington are hunting a man who attacked and robbed a newsagent in the town.
The incident occurred on Froghall Lane, Warrington, on Friday afternoon (September 12th) at around 3.30pm when a white male, aged in his late 20’s early 30’s entered the shop premises, assaulted a woman and then made off with cash from the till.
The attacker, who was around 5ft 8 and of slim build with dark shoulder length hair, was seen making off down an alleyway into Rolleston Street. He was wearing a long sleeved grey top.
