A COMMUNITY family fun day organised by the Shannon Bradshaw Trust proved to be a knockout success.
A total of 20 local businesses took part in the “It’s A Knockout” competition at Victoria Park, to raise money for local schools.
The Shannon Bradshaw Trust raises money for children in the UK who have life-threatening illnesses and local schools.
It was set up in the memory of Shannon Bradshaw, a young Warrington child who sadly lost her battle with Aplastic Anaemia in 2002.

Other teams taking part included Morris and Spottiswood Team who have carried out a number of different events
throughout the year raising £1464 for The Shannon Bradshaw Trust.
The next fund-raising event is a Halloween fancy dress, including live entertainment, hot chilli and hot curry supper,
karaoke, and prizes for the best fancy dress, taking place at the new Villargio restaurant on Folly Lane in Warrington
