Schools parking ban proposed

PARKING restrictions near school entrances in various parts of Warrington are being proposed by the borough council.
The order will prohibit any vehicle from stopping on school entrance markings on the sides of roads, or in any length of road specified as detailed below.
Details of the proposals, together with maps showing the restricted areas and the council’s reasons for introducing the order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during office hours Monday to Friday.
All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be made in writing and sent to Rebecca Davies of the Legal Services Section at the above address by September 25.
Roads affected by the order are:
Barnes Close, Bewsey Road, Collin Street, Grammar School Road, Henshall Avenue,
Liverpool Road, Oakwood Avenue, Peace Drive/Cromwell Avenue, Quebec Road, Reynolds Street and Wash Lane.
