THE Conservatives have named their team to fight the three borough council seats at Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft in the elections in May.
Two existing councillors and a local businessman has been selected.
Veteran borough councillor Sue Bland will be seeking re-election alongside Croft Parish Council member Val Allen and businessman Dean Bibby. All three live in the ward.
Cllr Sue Bland said: “I am pleased to have been selected to stand once again in the ward I live and to be asked to tackle the issues that concern me and the residents of Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft. I will be working closely with Val and Dean and I know we are the right team to get the job done.”
Warrington North Conservative Association Chairman Frank Allen said, “I believe that Sue, Val and Dean are the right team for Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft, who will work hard for all our residents.  Being local will mean they will already have a good idea of what needs to be done and what issues concern residents the most.”
Labour named their team some while ago. They are existing Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council members Matt Smith and Joan Grime and former borough councillor Jan Davidson, who represented the Westbrook area and who also served on Westbrook Parish Council.
