Have a go hero George Sampson performs citizen’s arrest

WARRINGTON’S Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson is being hailed a hero after performing a citizens arrest on a suspected thief.

George, who shot to fame after winning the national TV show in May 2008 has revealed his exploits on social media after helping perform the citizen’s arrest with friend in London.

The former Birchwood High School pupol posted on Facebook: “So I Was training free running at the imax in London earlier and along Southbank with my friend Harry when a woman started to scream, telling everyone that two gentleman had stolen her money in a street scam and ran away.

“We saw a police officer chasing one man and the other man ran in the opposite direction.

“We flipped a few walls and free ran our way to his direction, 5 minutes of chasing him and we had him under citizens arrest waiting for the police to arrive.

“He apparently stole the kids birthday money who was enjoying a birthday trip to London from Cardiff…

He was never gonna outrun us… Felt like something from a movie!”

Now George is being hailed a hero on social media by his many thousands of fans.
