POLICE at Warrington are investigating an arson attack in which a car and an industrial bin were damaged.
The fire was in Warrington Road, Penketh and firefighters used a hose reel jet to put it out.
It is believed the the fire was started deliberately and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
Police were also alerted to another suspicious fire involing a commercial van parked outside a property in Chiltern Road, Orford.
Firefighters, one wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet.
