Wolves turn up the heat in Tenerife

WARRINGTON Wolves have arrived in sunny Tenerife for a nine day pre-season training camp, with legend Andrew Johns set to join the coaching staff.

The players were up bright and early today to start their training with Centre Ryan Atkins posting pictures of the impressive training facilities on his twitter account.

Johns will be re-united with his former Newcastle Knights team mate Kurt Gidley, who has  teamed up with fellow ex-NRL stars Chris Sandow and Ashton Sims at Warrington.

Following the warm weather training Johns will be returning with the players to Warrington, which will include ‘An Audience with Andrew Johns’ evening at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday 14 January, in partnership with Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation and sponsored by Ashdowne Oil.

The event, hosted by Brian Carney, will be held in the Martin Dawes Lounge, 7pm arrival for a 7.30pm start.

Meanwhile the Wolves will be next in action for the Simon Grix Testimonial game on Sunday January 24th against Leigh challenging for the MBS Site Supplies Cup.
