Family pay tribute as Police seek witnesses to fatal M62 collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 23-year old Warrington man died in a collision on the M62 on Sunday.

Shortly after 4am on Sunday, December 27, a BMW car being driven by Usman Hussain was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the M62 eastbound carriageway between Junctions 8 and 9.

Sadly Mr Hussain was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was shaken but un-injured.

His family, who have been asked to be left in peace while they come to terms with their grave loss paid tribute to Mr Hussain saying: “Usman was the man who lit up our lives, he was a beautiful, intelligent and a caring person and will never be forgotten.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision or anything in the run-up to it is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 182 of 27 December 2015.
