Hotel evacuated after fire alert

STAFF and guests were evacuated from a Frodsham hotel after a smell of burning triggered a fire alert.
The incident was at the Best Western Forest Hills Hotel, in Bellemonte Road.
The smell was traced to a small fire in a light fitting which was out by the fire a fire crew from Runcorn reached the scene.
The hotel was evacuated as a precaution and firefighters ventilated the property.
