Van damaged in arson attack

POLICE at Warrington are investigating a fire, believed to have been started deliberately, involving a van.
The blaze was in the early hours of this morning in Ulverston Avenue, Orford.
A fire engine from Warrington attended the incident and one firefighter in breathing apparatus tackled the flames using a hose reel jet.
The van was badly damaged but there were no reports of injuries.
Anyone with information about the incident, at 3.48am, is asked to call police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
