BRITISH Transport Police today issued a CCTV image of a man they wants to question following the theft of a bicycle from Warrington Central Station.
The brushed steel colour Elite cross trail bike was taken at around 3pm on Wednesday, October 14.
Investigating officer PC Gary Beardall said: “The bike, which has distinctive blue patches and is worth around £700, had been left in the bike racks on platform one.”
Officers believe the man in the image could have vital information about the incident – they want to know who he is.
Anyone who knows him, or has any information about the incident, is asked to call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or ring Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
