POLICE are warning shoppers to be on their guard from purse thieves operating at the Morrisons store near Stockton Heath, Warrington.
Warrington South PCSO Dave Mahon said: “Make sure your purse and bag are secure.
“Don’t take the risk, be aware of what is happening around you and keep your purse or wallet safely tucked away.”

I really doubt that it’s just Morrison’s that has these low lifes lurking around. The whole town will probably be rife with them in the period up till Christmas so I don’t think Morrison’s will appreciate PCSO Mahon singling them out and possibly putting people off shopping there.
Perhaps the safest way is to shop online, and incidentally Morrison’s have the cheapest delivery service I have ever found – £1 and you don’t have to sign up for multiple deliveries!
