VIDEO update from Wolves’ Chief Executive Roger Draper who looks back at the inconsistent season and into the future as he continues with the ambition to make Warrington the best Rugby League Club in the world .
Draper says he has been “pleasantly surprised” with all the good work going on around the town where there is “a lot of ambition and energy.”
He laughs off the claims off Warrington being “bottom of the league for culture,” describing it as nonsense and while there are clear differences with “down south” there is a “rich heritage of culture” in Warrington.
He won’t be drawn on whether Warrington have made their “marquee signing” yet but expects a few more comings and goings during the off season as the club continue to strengthen their squad with youth and experience.
Excitment is also building at the club with a new kit unveiling in mid November, following the launch of the “best website in Super League” on November 4.
