School pals raise £4,000 for charity

SIX former school friends have raised more than £4,000 for charity by taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge.
The former students from Bridgewater High School, Warrington took part as Team Warrington and scaled the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales, Scafell, Ben Nevis and Snowdon in 23 hours and 20 minutes.
Their feat involved gruelling drives between the mountains in a 15-seater minibus with no sleep.
The six, Ian Musgrove, Tom Bianchi, Mike Tobin, Greg Ward and Luke Spencer have paid tribute to local people and organisations who helped them raise the money.
These included Bridgewater High School, who raised almost £800 with a non-uniform day, wine shop Corks Out and art gallery Studio Art, who organised a wine tasting and other companies who donated raffle prizes etc.
Picture shows Team Warrington after completing their ordeal.
