WARRINGTON’S much-loved Walton Hall and Gardens has received a Certificate of Excellence from one of the world’s largest travel sites.
The popular tourist attraction has been recognised by Trip Advisor as one of the “very best in the business”.
Now in its fifth year, the prestigious award can only be earned through consistently great reviews.
It celebrates hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments deemed as outstanding on the site.
Cllr Kate Hannon, lead member for leisure, community and culture at the borough council, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to see that Walton Hall and Gardens has been recognised and rewarded as a fantastic attraction in the town. It’s one of the many jewels in Warrington’s crown and is a much loved area for all residents to enjoy, especially during the summer.
“Walton Hall was also recently awarded with prestigious tourism status by Visit England so I’m happy to see that the investment into the area is really paying off!”
Situated amid 32 acres of picturesque parkland and boasting award-winning Green Flag gardens, the attraction can cater for any event and is full of lots of activities for all the family.
