NEWCHURCH Rose Queen Lucy Stevenson has been crowned for a second consecutive year at Culcheth, Warrington – due to a lack of suitably aged girls to take on the role.
Lucy, aged 11, a pupil at Twiss Green Primary School was crowned again as the 2015 Rose Queen. Her attendants are sisters Natalia Fuller aged 7 and Elisabeth Fuller aged 9.
Following the crowning, church members took part in a Walk of Witness through the village.
