A FREE music festival is set to take centre stage in Warrington next month (July).
Pyramid and Parr Hall, together with Warrington Music Collective, are bringing talented musicians and bands to the stage at Queen’s Gardens on Saturday July 12 from 11.30am, as part of the Warrington Music Festival and any serious music fan will not want to miss this event.
Warrington’s Parr Hall is fast becoming ‘the’ venue, which brings big name bands to Warrington and the music festival will be showcasing some acts, which may easily be the next big thing.
More than 30 local bands will perform on the ‘Warrington Music Collective Stage’ and the under 18s ‘Plugged’ stage throughout the day.
The festival include heartfelt and raw music from three Warrington lads in the form of ‘The Cordels’, alternative/blues/surf tunes from ‘Bill Davro’, and ‘Exile Parade’ who will be playing before heading off to play some of the summer festivals.
‘Warrington Musical Festival’ is organised by Pyramid and Parr Hall’s Venue and Events Manager, Christian Persoglio, and ‘Warrington Music Collective’s’ Steve Oates, and was borne out of a need for more opportunity to support and showcase the raft of local bands in Warrington.
Christian said: “We’ve hosted shows from a lot of big artists at Parr Hall, especially from the world of music, and we thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to highlight and showcase the wealth of talented musicians that we have in Warrington and bring them together in a day of new music.”
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a licensed bar provided by WA1.
