PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for additional overflow parking spaces near Warrington town centre which will also be used for a park and ride service at weekends.
The 60 extra spaces will create an overflow car park with 107 spaces in total on land adjacent to Renaissance House – the headquarters of the North West Development Agency – in Centre Park.
Security lighting, fencing and installation of CCTV cameras are included in the scheme.
