FOUR Warrington rugby players are hoping to raise enough cash to represent Great Britain in Australia by hosting a special sportsman’s evening.
Ste Fisher representing Rylands, Dave Whally representing Warrington Wizards, Mark Smith and Andy Wood, representing Latchford, all have to raise £1750 each to fund their BARLA tour “Down Under”.
The sportsman’s dinner will feature former England international and Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson as guest speaker, a three course meal and a comedian.
The event takes place on June 29 at Bank Quay Social Club, with tickets priced at £35 each.
For more information and ticket enquiries contact Andy Woods on 07976 500 920.
