CHILDREN in Warrington are being given the chance to win a selection of books for their school and a visit from an award winning local author.
As part of national reading week, pupils will be asked to design a unique Frankenstein’s pet, with the winning entry earning a visit from Penketh author Curtis Jobling.

Signed copies of all three books are up for grabs for the winner’s school, with Curtis himself selecting the winning entry on Saturday, June 21 at Warrington Library.
Entries must be received before Thursday, June 19, with the completion being open to all school children across the borough.
Entries can be submitted in any format and all must contain entrants name, age and school.
The winning entrant will be notified during the week beginning June 23.
All ideas must be sent to Chief Executive’s Unit, Top Floor, Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1UH or dropped off at reception at the Town Hall.
