PART of a residential road will be closed temporarily to allow for the installation of a new electricity main.
The traffic order means a prohibition of driving on Woodland Avenue, Lymm, from its junction with Higher Lane for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.
Work will start on Monday May 26 and is expected to take a week.
The alternative route will be via Higher Lane, Oughtrington Lane, Longbutt Lane, Woodland Avenue and vice versa.
Access to houses will be maintained during the closure.
